Transpersonal psychology emphasizes the integration of spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience into the framework of psychology. Researchers and practitioners in this field recognize the potential of psychedelic substances, including LSD, to catalyze transformative experiences that transcend ordinary states of consciousness. Studies have explored the psychological effects of psychedelic-assisted therapy, shedding light on the therapeutic potential of these substances in addressing existential concerns, such as the fear of death or the nature of self.
