Electrical Conduit Types

Types of electrical conduits or pipe system that protects wires and cables from shock, moisture, and smoke. This is the path for power or communication (low voltage) electrical wiring. It is usually tubular, made of metal (galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum) or non-metallic material (plastic) and is rigid or flexible. Special types of ducts are required in wet or dangerous areas.
