  • The More option is located in the upper right corner of your browser window. Those are the three horizontal dots.

  • Select the "Settings", then click on "Advanced Settings".

  • Click on the "Block Pop Ups" option. This function will be activated when the button turns blue.

Blocking Pop-Ups in Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is the second most used browser after Google Chrome. These steps will help you block pop-up advertisements from appearing for web users who depend on Mozilla Firefox.

  • Start the Mozilla Firefox browser.

  • Click the Menu button in the upper right corner of your window. It is indicated by three horizontal lines. Select the "Options” selection. (Note: OS X users will see the Menu option as Preferences).

  • Click on "Content" to go to the left side.

  • Make sure to check the "Block Pop-Up Windows” option. This will immediately stop annoying pop-ups appearing on your browser in future.

  • Click on "Tools". Press the Alt key if you don't see the option. Click on "Options" or Internet Options and select "Privacy".

  • Click on the Privacy tab and choose "Pop-Up Blocker". This section allows you to modify settings for pop-up ads. To see all your options, simply go to the Settings section.

Opera Blocking Pop Ups
