DTrim Advanced Support - The benefits of brushing on dry skin

Brushing dry skin is a simple beauty trick that takes only five minutes a day to do and is supportive of the health of your inner and outer inner body. This practice is part of the Ayurveda cleansing philosophies.
Ayurveda is a science originating in India from 5,000 years ago and is considered by many to be the oldest science of healing.
Your skin is an organ of elimination, like the kidneys, liver, and colon. The skin is the largest organ in your body and it is estimated that one third of the daily impurities in your body are excreted through the skin.
The benefits of brushing on dry skin are very important, since among other things, it helps to keep the pores clean and the skin active to help the body in this cleaning process.
If your skin becomes inactive, its ability to eliminate excess toxins deteriorates. This places additional stress on other organs and on your body in general.
The benefits of brushing on dry skin
1. Brushing on dry skin helps remove dead skin cells, which can help improve skin texture and cell renewal.
2. Increases the circulation of the skin, stimulating the discharge of your body of metabolic waste, which greatly facilitates the lymphatic drainage of the body. When the body gets rid of toxins, it is able to run it more efficiently in all areas.
3. Helps to tighten the skin as it increases blood flow. Increasing circulation to the skin can also help decrease the appearance of cellulite.
4. Brushing on dry skin stimulates lymphatic channels to drain toxic mucoid matter in the colon, thereby purifying the entire system. This allows the lymph to perform its house cleaning tasks by keeping blood and other vital tissues detoxified. After several days of dry brushing, you may see gelatinous material on the mucosa in your stool.
5. Helps with muscle tone and a more even distribution of fat deposits.
6. Rejuvenates the nervous system by stimulating the nerve endings in the skin.
7. Helps skin absorb nutrients by removing clogged pores. Breathing healthy skin contributes to the overall health of the body.
8. People who sit at a computer screen all day especially will enjoy the benefits of skin brushing.
9. People who have sedentary lifestyles or jobs often experience stiff neck and shoulder pain that even reaches the arms and spine and lower back.
10. The increased blood flow begins to penetrate the brushing areas and you will experience an increase in electromagnetic energy that allows you to feel energized and invigorated.
11. Cellulite is toxic materials that accumulate in the fat cells of your body, since they are not able to be eliminated. So instead of liposuction surgery, how about using the “dry skin brushing” technique in conjunction with an alkaline diet program and a great exercise routine.
12. Undesirable toxic deposits are broken down from the body and sent out of your body through the elimination channels we discussed earlier.
How to get started with your dry skin brushing regimen
1. Get a natural bristle brush, not a synthetic one. (Vegetable bristle)
2. Get a brush with a long handle, so that it is able to reach all areas of your body. The best case would be one that has a removable lid with a hand strap.
3. Brushing should be done once a day, preferably first thing in the morning. If you feel sick, please do it twice a day until you feel better.
4. Brushing should be done before your bath or shower and the body dry and naked.
5. Begin brushing your skin in long strokes starting from the bottom of your feet up, and from the hands to the shoulders, and across the torso in an upward direction. Always brush towards the heart. Try to brush several times in each area.
6. Avoid sensitive areas and anywhere on the skin that breaks.
7. After brushing your skin, rinse off in the shower. Paavo Airola, Swedish author of Beauty Secrets, recommends alternating temperatures in the shower from hot to cold. This in addition to toning the skin and stimulating blood circulation, brings more blood to the outer layers of the skin.
8. After getting out of the shower, dry yourself vigorously and massage your skin with pure vegetable oil, such as almond, jojoba sesame, or coconut, sunflower or a mixture of them.
9. Don't forget to clean your brush with soap and water once a week. After rinsing, dry the brush in an open, sunny place to prevent mold.
10. For a complete lymphatic cleansing, brush daily for a minimum of three months.
Caution: Do not brush on or on skin rashes, wounds, cuts, infections.
Any well-designed program will take about 30 days to see and experience the changes. Please be patient and stick with the program.
