Cabbage is low in calories and with the power of a superfood. Whether you enjoy it on your reducing diets, raw, cooked, fermented (in a healthy Sauerkraut -Fermented Cabbage-) or roasted, you will always need a head of this inexpensive cruciferous vegetable in your refrigerator - especially if you are trying to lose weight..
Cabbage properties
You can learn more about the properties that cabbage contains and how you can add it to your diet to lose weight.
Cabbage to reduce inflammation
Due to the richness of its vitamin C and vitamin A levels, cabbage has significant anti-inflammatory properties. Both green and purple have these properties, however, purple cabbage has the highest levels of these vitamins.
Digest well
Cabbage supports digestion as it is packed with high levels of fiber, which maintains regular transit. Beyond treating constipation, cabbage juice has also been able to help those who suffer from regular heartburn, peptic ulcers, and other serious digestive tract issues.
It is detoxifying
And last but not least, it is detoxifying due to its diuretic properties: If you are retaining water, start by cutting a little cabbage, and prepare something light. Eating mineral-rich cabbage and water on a regular basis helps the body to release excess fluid and weight by eliminating water; you'll start to see all the results of going to the gym soon.
The following is a very rich recipe that will have you very close to cabbage. It is very simple and has a delicious flavor due to an exquisite dressing that accompanies it.
Roasted cabbage with onion dressing for weight loss
In this recipe, we will give the cabbage a different handling and cook it in such a way that it remains in whole pieces. Roasting cabbage slices without falling apart is so easy. The trick in the first place is to leave them with the core intact and let everyone cut it when they are eating. Most recipes tell you to cut it, but the suggestion is that you don't. The leaves stay together much better with the core, so it is very easy to grill them.
Second, don't try to make the slices or wedges too small. Cut a head in half and then cut each half into quarters (or use just one medium, depending on how much you are serving), larger ones hold up better and cook more evenly.
Third, this recipe goes perfectly well with olive oil, salt, and pepper, but if you have a bottle of garlic-infused olive oil, it will take the whole dish to another wonderful level. Olive oil with garlic is also very healing.
You can check which are the essential foods to live longer.
And if that wasn't enough, there aren't many dishes that take you 3 minutes to prepare before roasting them for another 20 minutes. Take another couple of minutes while you're grilling to make the onion dressing. So, this dish cannot be missed for its flavor, nutrition, effectiveness for your goal of losing weight and also, quick to prepare.

Glucose is a sugar that comes from the foods we eat, and it's also formed and stored inside the body. It's the main source of energy for the cells of our body, and is carried to each cell through the bloodstream. Our brains depend on glucose to function, even when we're sleeping.
