Exercise helps reduce glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. Other studies have also reached this same conclusion, therefore, it is considered that a regular exercise program would be recommended to reduce and maintain your glucose levels. In order to notice the benefits, you should exercise at least three times a week, for a consecutive hour. In case your current physical activity is very low, you can start with a 30-minute walk. Remember that you should start gradually but steadily so that your glucose levels stabilize and maintain over time.
