And when you’re done, just give the washable filter a quick rinse under the tap to keep it in good condition.

Key features:

• Gives great results on both hard floors and carpets
• Washable lifetime filter won't need to be replaced
• Sends real time performance updates to the LCD display

Features we love:
Powerful cleaning on floors and carpets

An integrated digital motor spins the brush bar up to 60 times a second. It drives stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to remove dirt, and carbon fiber filaments capture fine dust on hard floors. The dyson v11 torque drive: is still the most powerful cordless vacuum on the market.
It has both more airflow and suction power than anything tested in our series before.
It has numerous power settings, so if you need to deep clean a rug or clean up a big mess for example, you could put it in high power for that or use it in low or medium power to save battery life.
Also, after seven months, the Dyson V11 is still the best cordless at deep cleaning carpets. That is getting the deep-down embedded dirt in carpets. Cordless vacuums on average don’t have as much power as corded one do.
Deep cleaning carpets especially is usually a weakness for cordless vacuums, but not with the Dyson V11.
Intelligently reports in real time
Monitors system performance 8,000 times a second, then reports in real time on the LCD screen.
The battery technology is really advanced. Directly, not only we have found the battery on the V11 to be the longest lasting on a single charge, but also when you consider the power output in air flow per minute, it’s also the most efficient battery on a cordless vacuum.
Additionally, you can add that to the unique Dyson automatic accommodation feature where a sensor in the cleaner head to detect whether you’re vacuuming hard floors or carpet and then adjust the power up or down accordingly. It makes that already amazing battery life and battery efficiency even better because it increase it for your home situation.
This only applies to the more costly version of the B11, the torque drive version because it has that screen giving you a digital readout of the remaining battery life with the current conditions. In general, it can be achieved how practical and useful it is in real world.
Dyson's battery technology and battery-saving trigger help to provide our longest run time by only using power when you need it.

Design:

It does its fundamental occupation likewise truly well, which is lifting stuff up off rug and hard floors even on its low force setting with the flexible front doors as far as possible opened. This all around planned floor head truly experienced no difficulty with any size garbage on rugs.
Nevertheless on hard floors, it’s a little bad with extra-large debris, it’s still much better than the average cordless vacuum. It is also found that its wide diameter brush roll resists pet hair and human hair implicate better than the average vacuum forehead.
It's not great. It actually gets gone head to head with longer hair, yet it's certainly better than normal. The canister is not difficult to purge and as a rule, garbage doesn't stall out in there. However, it occurs in the event that you have a lot of pet hair or you top it right off.
The fixed framework with HEPA filtration is still free of leaks after months, which isn't something you can generally underestimate.

The final pro is that it appears as though a truly very much fabricated. Sturdy machine keeps going quite a while however there are a few caveats to that.

The right cleaning mode for the right task

Three cleaning modes optimized for a variety of tasks. The right balance of power and run time, where you need it.
1. Auto mode.
2. Eco
3. Boast
'Point and shoot' hygienic bin emptying

The 'simple to use' instrument cleanly discharges residue and garbage profound into your container, in one activity – so there's no need to touch the dirt.
Drop-in docking
The Dyson V11 vacuum drops into the wall-mounted dock, to charge it and tightly store tools. So it's ready to grab and go.
Additional Features:
The dyson v11 torque drive: has a few features to make your life easier, like automatically adjusting its power level based on its required performance. You can also adjust the main vacuum head's suction to accommodate for different surface types, but you have to do it manually via a small slider on the head.
Recurring Cost:

The Dyson V11 has basically no recurring costs, which is excellent. Just like the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Canister and Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute, there are no bags to replace. The filter additionally is required to last the lifetime of your item as long as it's all around kept up.
Storing

The Dyson V11 is impressively easy to store. Its tall and narrow design helps it fit in tight spaces like a small broom closet. Unlike the Dyson V8 Animal, this vacuum can store up to two brushes or tools on the vacuum directly without changing its footprint very much. It also comes with a docking station that has a couple of extra spots to store more tools, which is convenient.

Dirt Compartment

The Dyson V11 has a fair dirt compartment. It's a bit small, so it tends to need emptying fairly frequently, but there's an indicator to let you know when it's full.
We've retested the dirt compartment volume using our technique instead of using the manufacturer specs. The dirt compartment's score has been updated to reflect this change.

Differences between Sizes and Variants
The Dyson V11 is available in two variants:
• The Animal,
• The Torque Drive.
The Dyson V11 Animal is great for bare floors. It does an excellent and consistent job of picking up pet hair as well as small and large debris, especially as its dirt compartment fills up. Although it has an only okay build quality as its plastic elements seem a bit fragile, it's fairly easy to maintain.
The dyson v11 torque drive: comes with an additional soft dusting brush for delicate surfaces and fabrics, and its LED screen is supposed to display real-time performance. For the most part, we expect both models to perform similarly as the rest of their advertised specifications are the same.
Pros:
• Awesome vacuum cleaner. Run time is good, cleaning is superb on deep pile carpets as well as hard floor.
• Very easy to use.
• Excellent attachments and for a cordless it’s very powerful.
• Easy to empty and running time of 60 minutes is plenty
Dyson V11: What We Don’t Like
Proceeding onward to the cons, numerous individuals have detailed an issue with the brush not turning either right when they got it or not long after they brought it home. The issue was brought about by a flawed ring on the inside of the brush move housing on certain units.
Dyson is apparently aware of this flaw though and had upgraded that particular ring then sent out free cleaner heads to all the people who has mentioned it on the reviews so that this seems to be like a good solution.
The high torque floor head on the V11 looks virtually identical to the previous model on the V10 even though the newer one just seems to be stiffer, but It did get better over time though.
